Bryan Wallace, M.Ed

Founder/ Principal Consultant

I'm a transformative leader in STEM education, driven by a passion for innovation and community empowerment. With a diverse background in education and leadership, I have honed my skills and expertise, preparing me to found and lead Collaborative Community Learning Labs (Co.L.Labs).

Throughout my career, I have held influential roles in academia, community organizations, and educational initiatives. As the Academic Board Chair at Patrick Henry School of Science and Arts and the Programming Board Chair for the Afrikana Institute's Afrikan Film Festival, I championed academic excellence and cultural enrichment, leaving a lasting impact on educational policies and

inclusive learning environments.

With a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted commitment to community empowerment, Bryan Wallace founded CoLLabs to serve as a catalyst for positive change. Through CoLLabs, Bryan continues to leverage his expertise and passion to create sustainable communities, foster innovation, and empower individuals to reach their full potential in the ever-evolving landscape of education and technology.

Projects:

Applying STEAM Principles to Community Issues

Here are some of the major projects we have in the lab:

  1. Podcast: STEM Rooted

    Through real-life stories and experiences shared by black STEAM professionals, this podcast aims to inspire students by helping them see themselves in these opportunities. It also equips educators with valuable tools and resources to foster inclusivity in their classrooms and promote diverse career paths.

  2. Gamifying Career Exposure:

    Working to develop engaging gamified ways that introduce students to the exciting world of STEAM careers and the educational pathways to pursue them.

  3. Common Language Initiative:

    This project seeks to empower students and parents when it comes to advocating for themselves and their children when it comes to career preparation.
